4 week old chicks my husband brought back from a farm.

The first one is a boy I think. Barred Rock?

The next one is a big ol' chick, Buff Orffington?

the last 2 are Ameracaunas?

this is what they were like as babies, I had 5 but due to a cat attack lost one.

yes i agree its kinda hard to tell from that one picture if its a buff orpington or a golden wyandotte.

I would guess barred is a roo

The barred turned out to be a roo. The best of the entire bunch. funny and friendly. He went quickly to a small farm and took right to the group as the lead. ( He died later in a coyote attack)

After he left the girls would wander around and now they've settled down to just follow me everywhere.

they are 24 weeks 2 days and haven't started laying yet.

She's just a mix. Not sure what though,.. She might be part BO

She looks ready to start laying! Nice red comb

Maybe hatchery quality New Hampshire. Or a mix. Not buff Orp or a Wyandotte.
