What type & gender is this?

I ordered eight Dominique pullets & the one pictured appears darker, different comb & has different body shape...oh & disposition. Please help! Not sure what I have here.

how old are they right now? If you just got them today then you can tell whether its a girl or boy by the length of their wings

That looks like a Dominique pullet to me, granted her coloring is pretty muddy, not nice crisp barring but that can easily be found in hatchery stock. Maybe pics of your other birds?

edited--a closer comb shot of this bird would help, too. It looks like a rose comb, but difficult to be sure from angle and distance.

The one on the left here might be a cockerel. The one on the right looks like a pullet. The comb seems more pink on the left one, and the barring is more spaced out, which I think can be an indicator of a cockerel. I have limited experience though, so I'd get a second opinion.

Very cute, by the way. I just added a buff orpington and tetra tint to my flock that are only a few weeks older than yours. They grow up so fast.

I think It looks like a pullet, but is that a single comb? Usually Dominique's have a rose comb and that to me looks like a single but it could also be just my eyes.
