What type of Ameraucana? Or could they be EE?

Bought these two as "Ameraucana pullets" at TSC. One has muffs, the other doesn't. The one that doesn't has a pinker comb coming in. So I guess what I'm wondering is: are they in fact Ameraucanas? If so, can anyone identify what color variation? And I think it may be too early to sex them (they're 8-9 weeks), but if someone can, that'd be cool too. I tried to get decent pics but with these girls (?) it isn't easy!!!!

They are EE's. It's very hard to get actual Ameraucana's without getting them from an actual breeder. To be an Ameraucana they have to meet the breed standard and there are only certain colors that are approved. Doesn't matter unless you want to breed and sell them. EE's are great birds and I've had some very pretty ones!

Thank you for all the info! It doesn't matter to me. I just wanted pretty eggs. I do wonder why TSC doesn't just sell them as Easter Eggers! Runnings near me does. But anyway, I love them just the same and now I know what to call them!
