What type of chicken is this?

I bought/saved 2 supposed silkies from a city slaughter house. They were my first chickens. Now I realize that they are definitely not silkies, or at least I think they're not...

Looks like you have a couple of lovely Polish mixes! They were possibly crossed with silkies or another breed to get the feathered legs. Do you know how many toes they have?

The color pattern on the dark one is referred to as Gold Laced.

5 toes like silkies, but the butt feathers are the only fluffy ones, the rest are all pretty normal feathers...

They are Silkie crosses for sure, since they have the leg feathers, black skin, and five toes. Probably crossed with Polish because the crest's big and the gold laced color is a common one in Polish.
