was it a pure breed or a mix of some sort whatever it is I would like to get a couple of them

I've seen speckled browns and greens but never a blue. I suppose the right mix of olive egger could appear fairly blue. Perhaps a spearmint egger with some welsummer in it

What is the source of the picture ? I'd start there to track down breed .

i WONDER IF i CROSSED A WELSUMMER AND A AMERICANA IF I COULD DUPLICATE IT WHICH SHOULD BE THE HEN AND WHICH SHOULD BE THE ROOSTER LOL JUST THINKING TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS THE PICTURE WAS FOUND ON PINIEST WHEN LOOKING FOR BLUE CHICKEN EGGS I THOUGHT THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL

A welsummer and Ameraucana would produce an olive Egger. From what I’ve heard, you can take an olive Egger and breed it back to a blue Egger to get a spearmint. It would take several generations of breeding to get that color on the picture tho. I know a breeder who has the most gorgeous speckled olive eggs and she breeds specifically for that color. If your up for breeding I’d start with getting an olive Egger first to quicken the process.
