all summer i was averaging over 11 eggs per day, outa 12 hens. most days i got a full 12 and for a total of 5 days during the entire summer i got 13 eggs outa 12 hens. since the fall hit, and natural light has caused me to use artificial light,,i still get 10-11 eggs per day. not bad
hubbard comets and SIA browns here. cant decide which is better...the comets may be a slightly bigger and definitly darker brown egg.
i used to have the barred rocks. IMO the most beautifulest breed there is. but their eggs were smaller than the RSL and didnt lay as well.
