what type of owl

Beautiful young owl in my area, but I can't find the name of it. Its not a horned owl, it has the head, face and body type like a snow owl, barn owl, but the coloring is light underneath and dark on top, and the circle feathers around it's eyes are dark. Very stunning bird Ive not seen before. Even if they are predators I love seeing them. just wondering if anyone knows a name for them?
 
am southern colorado east side of the mountains, was both times between 10am and noon. 2nd time it actually flew lower towards me curiosity for both of us...

that is really close, lighting/ distance could of made it appear darker to me, then it was . It feels right watching some videos of them. How cool. We are all open pastures/and the timing for migrating south this time of year. The second day that I saw it, it swooped down right towards me, I just melted inside lol ..

That's awesome! You definitely have the right habitat for them.
