You cant really tell in this picture but she has a little bit of copper pinning going on, on her chest her feathers have a greenish and purupleish sheen to them in the sunlight though

Comb is just straight comb she is going to be 24 weeks...no eggs yet

I'd love to see a better pic or description of its comb. Is that a V comb I see? Or a pea comb? That would really help.

Looks like a black sex-link to me.

When she gets close to laying her comb will turn bright red.

Looks like my girls....Black sexlinks, mine are older though and are laying. My girls have that greenish sheen to them too.

Yea I was told Australorp but she doesn't look like them...how long to sex links usually take to lay...her comb and wattles are still small but are red she is going to be 24wks

24 weeks? . . . . Well then she's not a Sex Link. I seriously think that's a V comb I see there. . . She might be a La Fleche cross or a Polish cross.

She looks exactly like my Black Stars. Most BSL begin laying pretty early, some as early as 16 weeks, so I think the fact that she's 24 weeks and not laying is a bit unusual.
