We recently found a white egg today in one of our chickens nesting locations and I want to ask a few things.
1: are different colored eggs an occasional thing? And does it happen from time to time?
2: Is there a newly laying hen in our backyard? Its just as small as our pullet eggs.
These are our suspects at the moment:
The little serama pullet on the right, doubt thats her egg since its too large but shes a suspect anyways.
Our barn mix hen, she lays cream colored eggs. (or light pale)
Our light sussex(?) Pullet, she lays orange eggs like the ones from supermarkets.
Rir pullet, she lays the orange eggs as usual.
These are the suspects because they are pullets. Any hens we have are molting so egg production is pretty low at the moment.
