What veggie plants grow in partial shade?

Lettuce, spinach, mustard greens, maybe beets and carrots, herbs of all kinds, maybe peas, nasturtiums ... it depends really on how long that morning sun is. If it's from 7 to 12 full on sun then you can grow quite a bit but if it's less than that, mainly leafy stuff. Tomatoes, squash, most beans, melons needs 6 + hours of sunlight a day. A lot of things will grow in a shadier area but they won't produce well. There is a web site somewhere that actually lists vegies and flowers that will grow in shade or low light areas. Do a search and see what you come up with.
