What went wrong? Pics included

I didn't but I did notice that some of the air cells seemed kind of small. Next time, i will be weighing eggs and watching the air cells.

I think most people find that monitoring air cells is a great guide to know what's going on. Different times of the year even require different humidity settings. Its not simple to pick a number, you have to find what works for you, in your locality. 25-35% early on, then 65-70% for the last 3 days works for me.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of trial and error to get it right.

Central Georgia.

Humid area. Yes, I'm definitely guessing humidity was too high. Try another set with absolutely no water to begin with. Check your air cells on day 7, and compare to this chart.

Weighing works well too, if you have found that information somewhere. It just gets a little tedious to do after a while. I loved weighing them when I first started incubating. Now I just watch air cells.

Thank you! I will definitely keep an eye on the air cells this next time. It was quite disheartening to see so many almost hatched chicks. Most certainly a great learning experience though!
