What were you doing the morning of 9/11?

DD had been just sent to Italy and we were getting our fax machines set up to each other. I had to inform her by fax what was happening and she finally found a TV station to watch along side me thousands of miles apart.

I was getting ready for school (I was a college freshman) when I heard. Then we spent all day in my classes watching news footage and talking about it. Then I remember chatting with my friend (whose birthday it was...bummer birthday to have now) about the scary possibility of war. We all know how THAT turned out...
