What white egg layers are best, but also relatively cheap?

We bought 4 pearl white leghorns in the spring, and they are extremely friendly. They follow us all around and are very inquisitive. :) Can't wait for the gorgeous white eggs--hopefully only a few more weeks! :)

I have two Ideal 236 chickens that lay large white eggs every single day. The hens are not very big at all, so I'm amazed at the size of the eggs. Their feathers are solid white and they have huge floppy combs that fall over to the side. They are such characters. I love them. I purchased them because they are sex-linked and I didn't want any more accidental roosters.

We have brown, green, blue, and cream egg layers, but for easter we want white eggs, but don't want to have to buy them. So what is the best white egg layer thats also relatively affordable to buy?

Sorry if thia post doesn't go here.
We love our Anconas! Good personality, consistent layers, hardy (even with a big comb in the cold), bright & energetic. Their eggs are slightly smaller than most chickens especially at first but they do just fine. I've tried leghorns before but didn't like their personalities.

We did more research and decided to go most likely for the off white layers, the dorking.
I love my Dorking’s! They lay lots of bright white eggs and are so sweet and silly:) I also think they are really beautiful too!

Yes. We are going for the dorking. Thanks for all your suggestions. When I get my own land and farm, I plan to ownbe many of those breeds. But this is my mom's homestead and she said dorkings when iI showed her the options XD
