Definitely not a deal-breaker for someone who's obsessed!
I'm sure a coop upgrade is in your future.
Honestly, I've only had a total of 3 friendly EEs out of 22, so I think it's a breed tendency rather than anything you did or didn't do.What colors do your girlies lay?
Sounds like they truly fill up those cartons faithfully (aside from natural breaks, of course
)! 22 weeks, goodness! They'll most likely continue to provide you with a steady supply of eggs for a long time to come, too.
And to think Australorps are known for their laying capabilities!

LOL true! And I'm definitely chicken obsessed.
And lol I wish but we just recently finished. A new coop and moved them in a month ago. Wish we had built it bigger. Ha I might make a second one eventually though.
Glad to know it might not be me. Lol one of them sees to want to be friendly but won't come up if I have a treat cause of the others
One lays light blue and the other lays green/olive. I have pics somewhere ha
And yes they're definitely great layers and I was surprised by how quickly they started laying! And surprised because I read some EEs aren't grrat layers.
And yeah, it's funny! Lol they were laying so idk why they're not.
I have 7 - 1 Barred Rock, 2 Black Australorps, 2 Buff Orpingtons (was 3), and the 2 Easter Eggers. The BR, a BO, and the 2 EE's are laying right now. I think another Orpington might be laying too or one Australorp but not sure. Gotta go look at comb colors, BRB LOL not really but I will look tonight
