What WON'T your chickens eat?

Celery lol I had a bunch from my kiddos school lunches so thought hey the girls might like a treat oh boy was I wrong they looked at me like I was insane .

Mine are surprisingly hesitant about cut broccoli. Probably because they are used to breaking into my garden and eating all my broccoli plants, so now they think harvested broccoli isn't fresh enough .

Mine are babies but they refuse to eat pecan pieces and walnuts. And the banana peel idea didn't work. I know my post tells I'm in the brooder right now. So is my flock. Edit tomato seeds too. They snubbed their beaks at.

Fresh or dried mealworms??? or both?? Mine literally tackle each other for fresh mealworms!!! and they LOVE grapes ....

Strawberry gets a big NO from them too.

Neither on the meal worms and one will eat grapes the other two will not and they hate strawberries

So far mine don't like bell peppers and broccoli!

I'm wondering if perhaps pesticides or other chemicals are influencing what the birds are eating and not eating. A few of the items listed like strawberries, spinach, kale, grapes etc have heavy pesticide residues and are on the dirty dozen lists. My birds will eat anything I give them and I usually give them stuff from my garden. The grapes especially are worthy of playing the it's mine and you can't have it dance.

They were a little iffy about trying natto, I think most sensible creatures are, but they like it.

My chickens won’t eat bell peppers, they just like the seeds inside.

My chickens don't like celery, or the outside of a watermelon.

My cute girls will eat evrything I give them. Even the occasional spicy stuff although they shake their heads when to spicy. they also eat all critters they can find in the garden when free ranging.
