Y'all are confused? The most that makes sense here is that those are maggots and the bird needs to be checked over real good.

There is something going on here.

This is freaking me out. It is not normal poop and I have been having an issue with the neighbors birds coming over daily and bothering them and eating their food and pecking at them. This is the first day I have seen this. I check their poop daily just to keep an eye on the group.

Check the birds over really well for fly strike.

Those are maggots.

Wish me luck. Do t even know what bird it was. Going through the whole bunch again now. Though we alternate bathing so two just got bathed last week and week before so at least 8 left to check over.

I agree these are maggots. My chick got flystrike and a few maggots worked they’re way into his vent. When he pooped them out they looked like this. Definitely check your chickens butts!!!

He did not poop out that nasty brown stuff though. Just live maggots in regular poop. I started shoving Diatomaceous earth in him and they started coming out dead.
