Maybe politely let them know that one of their birds is likely being eaten alive right now.

I agree these are maggots. My chick got flystrike and a few maggots worked they’re way into his vent. When he pooped them out they looked like this. Definitely check your chickens butts!!!

He did not poop out that nasty brown stuff though. Just live maggots in regular poop. I started shoving Diatomaceous earth in him and they started coming out dead.

I kept my chickens penned up for a day now and thoroughly went over each one of them. Stayed in the coop with them for hours on end. No signs of anything. Checking their poop again and again, no signs of anything. Gave everyone an epsom salt bath individually.
No signs of any sores or any type of distress.
