Hi I have a friend with a barred rock roo and was wondering what the babies would turn out like if I bred him with my white leghorn hen? What color egg? What color would the birds be? Has anyone ever done this cross before?

The offspring would be White Barred, & females would lay light brown/tinted eggs.Hi I have a friend with a barred rock roo and was wondering what the babies would turn out like if I bred him with my white leghorn hen? Why does some of them have white legs?A majority of them end up being white or white with black here & there. I did a mass hatch back in Jan. and I have a BR rooster & 4 leghorn hens. There’s some other crosses pictured, but most of the white ones are the BRxLeghorn while some are BRxISA Brown
There’s some that are from a cuckoo maran rooster, but other than that it all follows the same pattern. Why does some of them have white legs?
I think the same as what's been described: each chicken mostly white, some bits of black, white barring on the white (but invisible or hard to see.) Eggs probably light brown.@NatJ, what's your thoughts on what the mix would look like?
