So if you cross a double gene naked neck to a fully feathered chicken you get 100% one gene naked neck meaning that they would have the clump of feathers.
Right?
What happens if you crossbreed two chickens with one gene naked neck togethet?
Will you get 100% the same as parents or 25% double gene 25% no gene and 50% one gene???

Double gene NN (stripper) crossed to a regular gives you 100% bow tie Nn

Single gene Nn crossed to a Nn gives you 25% stripper 50% bow tie 25% regular (same for bow tie and stripper crossing except no regular and 50% stripper)

If you breed a regular chicken nn to a bow tie Nn you will get 50% bow tie 50% regular

Isn't stripper only used for silkies? I've only ever heard naked necks be called homozygous otherwise

I’m not sure, I’ve always just been calling the double gene NN strippers, so I make be using the name incorrectly.
