what would they be called?

EE rooster (the one in my avatar pic) has 40-ish eggs due any eggs... 30 are his and white leghorns and 10 are his and buff orpingtons....



would they be called Easter eggers or EEXWL/BO?

I call mine ee/leghorn mixes. I know some folks will say they're ee, because ee are "mutts". But if I had a mutt dog bred to a purebred, say a lab, I'd call it a lab mix, not just a mutt. It's personal preferance. FYI my ee/leghorn mixes are great layers and lay the lightest green tinted eggs!

Well, my leghorns are brown, so they and most of my ee hens are similar colored. So the babies just look like that same color. White leghorns, I don't know what they'll turn out. Post when you get some!
