While I agree with what several people have said, I want to add something. I am willing to bet a lot of your classmates were talking out their butts. A lot of big talk, but when it comes down to it, I doubt it will become the rolling party they are saying.

I agree with you guys and I will probably ask him about it tomorrow to find out for sure. What I'm finding out is that it is somewhat of a tradition to drink on environmental science trips.

I think it is likely he did say exactly what they told me, but I would like to verify it for myself, or at least let him know there is talk of alcohol on the trip if he doesn't already know. I don't want to step on any toes or cause trouble so worse comes to worse, I'll just stay home and relax that weekend!
