I had no idea you could tel by the color of their legs! Very interesting! Thanks !She looks like an ee mix but looks like she will be laying brown eggs since she doesn’t have the green legs!
Here’s a photo of my EE and my maran.
It’s very cool!! I just learned it last year with my chicks!! You can tell when they are tiny what color they will lay (for colored egg layers)I had no idea you could tel by the color of their legs! Very interesting! Thanks !
Those are beautiful chickens!
You can't tell egg color by leg color. They aren't genetically linked. Many people think that earlobe color and egg color are linked too but again they really aren't. There is a correlation with earlobes and eggs because certain breeds have been developed to have a certain earlobe color and a certain egg color but one is not caused by the other and vice versa.I had no idea you could tel by the color of their legs! Very interesting! Thanks !

I don't know about the leg color having any meaning on egg color, but she looks to have a single comb coming in. If she does end up laying blue eggs I would guess cream legbar mix. They have a single comb and lay blue. Her coloring is off for CL (dark and legs aren't yellow) and no crest so some kind of mix. Easter eggers are barnyard mutts so maybe?
Edit to add: Drumstick Diva suggest gamebird mix and her stance does look like it. How old is she? Do you know anything about where she came from? The more experienced members here could maybe say if gamebird and CL could produce that coloring in a pullet. Here is a pic of my CL (not hatchery). Notice how even at 3 months she has much more bulk than your pullet. The only thing that has me thinking that is the single comb and you were told Easter egger.
