I was told before my girls were laying that you could tell egg color by earlobe color. I can tell you now, this is not correct. Supposedly white earlobes equals white eggs, but my pullet with white earlobes lays the darkest brown eggs of any of the breeds I have! She actually looks a bit like yours and I suspect wellsummer cross.
