What would you serve with a pastie (pasty to some) dinner?

Whatever cheap beer you can find with a "z": Schiltz, Blatz and so on.

A pastie is meant to be a meal in and of itself since it has bread (the crust), meat and veggies (rutabagas, carrots and onions).

Maybe something light as a side dish and dessert since pasties are pretty heavy and filling.

Sounds like it should include a really big bottle to be honest.

Good thing I made homemade liqueurs to take with us I have a feeling they will be empty after 4 days with the relatives! Either way knowing them the wine will be plentiful.
