emvickrey: 21/24 silkie eggs made it to lockdown, a few pipping now.

Paris: 7/8 RIR made it to lockdown, no pips yet but they are a day behind the silkies.

I dunno what I am going to do with all of these chicks!!!

I'm working on it! I have never had this much luck with hatches, so I'm looking for different avenues to sell chicks. CL, FB, and the usual: farm/chicken swaps. Luckily this is the right time of year. I have two sizzles out and my last fertile egg from my appenzellers hatched. (The rooster died a few weeks ago)
I still have 4 wk and 1 week olds to sell...

You might also try local feed stores. We are friends with the guy that owns the closest one to us, and he is always wanting chicks from people here locally. Just about everything he offers is produced locally.
