That's the plan. Making arrangements now for egg & chicken sitter & she is gonna watch the kids too so I don't hafta drag them along.

My 4 kids will be with me, cause hubby will be working and I don't have a baby sitter. But they like to see the animals. Maybe I will see you there. I will probably be the only 1 crazy enough to bring 4 kids along.

I'm going tomorrow nite & will be there ALL weekend. I took my 2 youngest to the Baltic swap last month & couldn't get them to stay on my lot, so they are grounded from the rest of the swaps for this year.

Lol..... My daughter is the same way. I'm not going to sell this time. I am going to try to find some decent priced birds that I want. Although I do have some Birds I need to sell. But everyone that goes there to buy try's to haggle you down to nothing. It ticks me off. But I have some Bantam EE's and a Quad of Adult Muscovies of coarse I can't take them there they are just too big. I also have a pair of serama and a serama Roo. But the last time it was so hot I had to keep put the birds in the air conditioned car for a few minutes to cool down.

I would really like to find some well started peafowl & silkies serama for a decent price. I can't afford much right now.

Ok, I goofed big time. My white muscovies aren't White. They are barred.

Angel, did your white live that I sent you. If so it is possible that it is barred. If it has barring on it's wings it is barred. I will get a pic of mine growing out.

Sorry I waited to all of them at the same time. I think I am finally ready for the 10 day vacation. 5 of those days is on the road driving. I am going to have a sore tush. House clean, laundry done, new home, shop and gargage alarm system in, dog with sitters, chicken sitter coming over, yard mowed, items unplugged, luggage loaded. All I need now is chickens loaded up (later tonight) and it's off at 5 am. I will have the laptop on the road with me. I still want to swap while I am traveling BUT only if everyone would not mind if I ship the items when I return. Or maybe I will do paypals too. They always go over well.

I should be at Crazypetladies in Indiana (Rachael's) about 5-6 pm tomorrow. Come on over LOL

So my husband is thinking of buying me a breeder pair of Sebastopol geese for my up coming bday.

he is talking to someone who has a pair of 2 year olds from holdereads and pip and peeps lines. They want $250. Good deal or not?
I know they only lay 25-35 eggs a year and I want to sell their eggs. When does laying slow down?

You need to get pics and ask this question on the Sebbie thread. The price depends on the quality, regardless of what lines they are from. I got my breeding pair directly from Pips & Peeps for less than that.

I have a pair of Sebbies that I got at an auction last fall. I know nothing about their lines or ages. She laid 16 eggs this year, so I am assuming they are just 1 year old. I tried to sell some of her eggs on here and no one wanted them because I didn't know their lines.

I don't really care about lines-as long as they are beautiful birds, which yours are! I can't afford to pay the prices most people ask for their eggs, though!
