I got the silkie eggs from 2hot2chicken today they were packaged well and made it safely with extra.
Im getting rid of poof fluff toast smudge and fudge today.

I dont have recent photos of them as they grew to fast . They are all in there gawky lanky mostly featherd with puffs sticking out randomly stage lol. I cant beleve how hard it is for me to let these guys go. I hand out newly hatched chicks no problem but these guys have been with me for like 3 + weeks and Im so attactched. Im gonna worry about them. I dont think I should ever keep babies this long again its to hard to let them go.

Ok..... what does NOT count: eggs, chicks, grow outs, bantams (including Silkies) extra roosters and any other feather critter that is NOT a chicken.

Sebbies: I have seen $50-$125 each. Mine laid a dozen or so eggs each ,MAYBE !

Most were not fertile, 2 girls went broody on rocks and pecans and I think 4-5 started to develop and quit in the incubator. Not good for Sebbies here. Got ZERO from my quad.

They just turned a year in April. My 4 are beautiful, friendly and mischievous.... I hope for a better time next spring.



I got my eggs from zookeeper, my chicken nipples from 202rooster. Thanks to both of you.

Went to the chicken auction today and came home with 7 Marans chicks and 5 barred ameraucanas. I am a happy camper!

Anyone iterested in coffee shipped the same day its roasted or a big batch of amazing fresh baked bread?
I have been bragging to my mom about the swap thread and she really would love some plant starts/bulbs. Especially those lillys someone posted a pic of. My parents are coffee roasters and they can send coffee the same day its roasted, lots of yummy kinds. She also is an excellent baker and would make and ship bread same day.

Can she grind the coffee first? If so, I would swap with her.

she has espresso and robust-smooth blends. Basically if you describe what kind of coffee you like she can match one to your taste.

BocaJava has one that we both loved (for the record, I can't stand coffee

)! It is a butterscotch-flavored coffee called Frosty's Favorite that is only available in the winter. I would love something similar, if possible?
