Hi y'all... It seems my chicken obsession has rubbed off onto my dad, and he now wants to raise chickens as well. He's a little pickier than me and has three breeds in mind. He wants to start with the Egyptian Fayoumi. Does anyone on the swap raise them and would like to sell some hatching eggs?

I'd rather get them through someone I know rather than search eBay or go to a hatchery.

Good luck! A friend of mine ordered some from a hatchery in January, she still hasn't got them. Their breeding season is May to July!

I don't remember if it was May or June, but there was a guy at the Fayette County Fairground swap that had 1 grown it didn't have the heart, I don't remember if that means it was a male or female. I think he was asking $40. I don't know how far you are from there, but he may be back. It will be on Aug 19. Let me know if you go, I'll be there!

Why, oh why, does time seem to speed by except when you're waiting for eggs to hatch?!
 
I can not wait to get my hands on some of those dog pjs!!

So in August I will be getting tolbunt mix eggs, frizzle naked neck eggs, and polish eggs.
I am going to make them their own pen and coop I think, that way I can offer you guys funky chicken eggs in about 6 months time! :D
