WHAT YA GOT SWAP Chat Thread

I have been gone for 2 days for doctor stuff and you all have bee tearing up the swapping without me

Ok Question, I am at a loss with my sewing machine. It keeps bunching up the thread from the bobbin.

Here is what I have tried to fix it:

Oiled the sewing machine
Checked for any bits of thread hiding in any nook and cranny and got it all out.
Changed Bobbins
wound a new bobbin to try
Made sure bobbin was secure


I am at a loss. Why is it bunching the thread. It is only a few months old. So the sewing machine is new.

Does your have a certain way the regular spool of thread has to be fed? Mine does, and I didn't know it, and it was bunching up the thread underneath the fabric. See if you have to thread your spool a certain way.... hard to explain....with the thread coming up from the bottom of spool....or opposite.... mind ended up have a diagram sorta...when I finally went looking for it

Check the manual for how to adjust the feed dogs.

When mine bunches it's 1 of 3 things:
1. Bobbin is in backwards
2. Thread is threaded wrong
3. Tension needs adjusted

I give mine to the no kill shelters and they then sell them, less of a pain for me!

Michelle sounds like the tension, maybe in the humidity the threas swells and you need less tension?

Yeah, I got it working again. I had the stupid spool on backwards. I forgot I changed spools. Must not have paid attention when I was putting it back on. I was up later sewing a couple of nights.
