If I had enough time, I would take a chicken diaper and add snap-on handles to it. Tie the handles together with a big bow (chicken, diaper and bow all color-coordinated, of course) and hand it to her like a gift bag! That way it is all set to run around the house while you're having dinner!

That sounds like SO MUCH FUN! I can't afford to feed any more chickens though. Need to get rid of LOTS of young Andalusians.

Yikes!! My feed store has a sale on layer crumble 9.99 I think it ends today. I better go stock up.

I'll just take your Tom for the Winter and put a diaper on him so he can hang out with us, I'll give him back in the Spring!! (her RP Tom is a character )

Id buy a whole pallet at that price...no lie! I just paid 22$ a bag for chick crumble..and that was WITH my 10% discount! Layer pellets are 19$ a bag! Just went to a chicken gathering last weekend....our friends bought a whole pallet of layer pellets for all of us to buy and split! 13.90$ a bag including tax...i bought 6 bags? Would have bought 10 more if i had the cash on me;(

Now that I think about it...it kills me that folks crab about paying 15-20$ for POLs! That barely covers the feed cost let alone breed types!

Today is butcher day for me...I go through my chicks and cull all males;( They are 7 weeks old and the sexes are rearing their ugly heads...cant afford to raise tons of roos...anyone near me want Tolbunt split polish...silver laced brahmas or millie fleur duccle roos? Lol
