Yes, I did! Thank you! They were all packaged and labeled very well and thank you for the instructions. I've got to go out this afternoon and decide on a final spot for them to be.

Received my hatching egg racks from 202roosterlane which was a special gift from coldupnorth. Paulette sent an extra rack and a lovely calendar too. Thank you both so much.

Natalie, I'll test hatch some of these for you.

On another note, BYC now has a mobile version. The only problem is it doesn't show signayures so everybody that says swap page in signature, mobile users won't see it. Just food for thought.

As far as changes to the swap, in taking suggestions from everyone it appears we don't need many changes.

I think we should use the suggestion of if the swap stalls for 12?? or 24?? hours or some other time frame that we set up that anyone can except the swap even if they have already used their swaps for the week.

In addition most want an extra swap or two but still want some limit to the number allowed so maybe we go to 4 per week and the prior suggestion that will allow for extra swaps if the swap stalls?

Is everyone happy with the way we just leave it up to the swappers to determine what is a fair swap? The one area that I can think of is paypal offered and should we have a minimum amount that can be offered? I know that when I ship eggs the postage cost is $8.00 to $13.00 which does not include the value of the eggs. I know that most of the items that I receive from swappers the postage cost is also on the average of $7.00 to $15.00 which does not include the item. With this in mind, most swap values with shipping are upwards of $15.00.

We have always left it up to the swappers as to what they feel is fair. Thus if someone offers paypal of $10.00 to $15.00 and someone else is happy with that then all is good. Do we need to address this or is everyone okay to just leave it as it is?

I vote for no changes to be made. We've lasted this long with no major issues why mess with it.

I like these ideas. I would like to see the paypal go up a few dollars, shipping is usually $9-15 for me, and thats not counting on what I spend on the item(s). I think $12-15 would be fair

I think we are ok the way we are, but if changes make everyone happy so be it. Paypal sure goes uber fast usually withen like 2 minutes for something people think isnt fair

. I think sometimes people forget this is for fun and we all enjoy it its not for profit or enterprise . But whatever makes you all happy.

They have that other forum for paypal and eggs. They allow several swaps per person and can claim for someone else. They got shut down once and well on their way to getting shutdown again. I just think we should just leave it as is. Its fine the way it is. If you allow paypal it should be as a secondary offer. This is the What you got SWAP not SALE. I love this forum and hope that if changes are allowed that it dont destroy it. OK ill step off my soapbox now.
