WHAT YA GOT SWAP Chat Thread

Hey swap folk - any of you know how (or if possible) to ship mealworms? We have SO many - I think the chickens are getting tired of them. If I found a way to ship them, I'd put them up as a swap item. I think we have some styrofoam containers - like the ones you buy worms for bait - laying around. I was thinking, oatmeal + mealworms in a container then this placed inside a box - what do ya think? My fear is that if the mealworms get to hot in transit they will die.

crazy huhn (a byc'er) shipped some to me. She put them in an egg carton, or a small box, then covered the carton/box with a cloth drawstring sack so the little guys could breath but not get out. Then in a shipping box with holes punched in it. The Styrofoam might suffocate them.

We're the last house on his route, so 4-4:15 each day, since i always have outgoing for work, he comes up to the door for me (the actual box is 2 streets over, and uphill so it's hard on my wheelchair). He even taped the labels on as I was struggling with the tape gun.

Woohoo! Just talked to a guy a few towns over, and I'm picking up some SQ dark Cornish and some SQ modern games tomorrow! I can't wait!

They're just chicks, so they'll be showable by the spring show!

I've been popping in and out, but things have been hectic here with school and football starting! Hopefully, once everything settles down, I can get back into it.

ok, another crazy trading day while i was out, alright, tomorrow I am home all day! I have notifications from yahoo mail, so as soon as i hear that poof noise, i'm all over the swap thread!

ps: coop is almost done, its ugly as sin, but all we've spent is about $60.
