You ought to get some they are a very plucky breed! Lots of personality and then some. I need some hens. Planning on getting some hatching eggs as soon as I make my icubator, which ought to be interesting.

I have heard about the lipstick on the vent thing too, I've heard it works. I wouldn't plan on using that lipstick again, though.

How much color are you shooting in the vents?

I only tried a few drops. I didn't do it again last night, so I've got no idea on today's eggs. I think a gel might work better, and I just don't want to use lipstick!!!
