...I'll be out there laughing at mine now when they start charging me!!

corancher-Icelandics were dubbed "pile chickens" by early Icelanders because that is where they foraged....in the manure piles of the livestock. I try to think of them as "mini-transformers/sanitizers"...it doesn't matter what goes gross thing goes in....a delicious egg comes out.....but then there is the matter of the same place depositing eggs and poop.....oh, well....best to not think about it!!

Lol. G is too good. When I brought poults home for the first time, he watched them for about 30 seconds, then asked, "are they turkeys or something?" BUSTED! He didn't even have chicken chicks to compare them to! Now he knows them by sound. When we talk about them, if I ask which one, it's "the white turkey, or I think it sounded like a turkey". He's pretty good though, he didn't complain about peafowl!
