I am so sorry for all you people with horrible weather! I was thinking of everyone when they were talking about flooding today on the news. At least I know some of you still have snow so you cant flood!
stay safe and don't freeze.

I remembered last night that this egg had a funky air cell. It wasn;t quite a saddle shape, but it did run down the side of the egg quite a ways. She had pipped the egg, then did what looked like another pip right next to the first one about 24 hours later. About 6 hours later, there was another pip at the very top of the egg away from the other two. I waited until late evening, then I used my probe to chip away the shell from the top pip. The baby was breathing, but seemed pretty crowded by the sac. I left it there for another couple of hours, then opened a bit more. I was so afraid it would die in the shell over night, that I took a warm wet papar towel and took the egg out of the bator and chipped the shell away from the entire air sac. There was a vein running through the membrane, not huge, but noticeable, so I made the hole in the membrane just a bit bigger without disturbing the vein, wrapped the egg in the wet paper towel and laid it on its side back in the bator. Within an hour and a half, the baby was out! She's small, but strong...

Good job. Sometimes they just need a bit of help.

I know a lot of you have children so I'm offering this as a side swap. If I do not get any offers its going to the yardsale.

I have a brand-new kids stroller. Now shipping it will be a little awkward. Its not a fancy one but ill post pictures here soon. I just found a bag of toys in the closet. Go figure I have stuff every where. Also shipping might be to much on it. Ill be posting pictures all day today. Also swapping eggs will have to wait till after the 20 the of may. But I am looking for ducklings and chicks. If anyone is close to me to do local swaps that'd fine I live in eastern Tennessee.
