Ok so Im not going crazy! I do owe some origami lights! I'll fold them and send them out on Monday CYC. In fact all my swaps will go out Monday. I apologize for any delay. I tried to get in the car to drive to the PO a little while ago and couldn't even make it down the driveway.

Apparently my bruised tailbone and a manual transmission do not mix! Going to have DH bring them with him to work on Monday. Again sorry for any delay!

No hurry, feel better and get off your butt! I had a broken tailbone and arthritis there is not fun.

I just recieved 13 of the tiniest chicken eggs I ever seen!!! Really! As small as pheasant eggs or smaller and as large and ALOT of my eggs I get from my jumbo coturnix quail--Seramas from BHep. Obviously As. WOW. Great packaging. All arrived in tact. Thanks so much! And thanks for getting them to me so fast! They will be going into bator tonight.

Glad they made the trip safely. Mine always hatch day 19-20, so you may want to lock down a day early. I have had many a serama hatch in the turner

Please keep me posted on the development and hatching. I set the first 19 layed from this group and only pulled 4, I think, may have been 3. Too many eggs to remember

So you are the 1st person getting these.

Lots of with bone spurs! Trust me, I feel sorry for all of us too

I also thought maybe plantar fasciitis, I have heard that hurts really bad as well. I'm going to go get some heel inserts and hopefully the cushioning will ease the pressure some. I have to deal with it, I don't see how some of you are paying $300 for Dr. bills and meds.

I'm poor, but I'm happy

We were self employed for several years and did quite well, but the economy put us under, but we have adjusted quite well to being poor. As long as I have my family and friends, there really isn't anything else I need. To be quite honest, I'm probably happier now, than I was with money. Sounds crazy I know, but tons of stress comes along with making lots of money. So much I had to deal with on a daily basis.

Cammie- you have my sympathies w/ plantar fasciitis. I do wear inserts and it helps some. Steroid injections have been helpful for short periods if you can afford it. We haven't been able to lately...we have always been poor so the economy crash doesn't affect us as much as some. Never did have a credit card or lots of debt other than student loans. Feeding kids is where I see my money go and I don't know about ya'll but the price of food is getting ridiculous!!!

I feel your pain, literally. I've had Plantar Faccitis (sp) for the last 13 years and along with that I have heel spurs on both heels. Artheritis in my ankles and knees and buldging discs in my back. Poor hubby has to work his fingers to the bone at work and here. I do what I can and I also take care of my m.i.l. It's taken over a month to move and we're beyond broke. lol Thank goodness I can sell enough eggs so the chickens pay for their own feed. The swaps, I use any extra $$ from selling eggs to pay for shipping. These days nearly everybody is broke but we make it. Rob Peter to pay Paul so it's called. lol

Oh, I didn't mention I don't have insurance and it's always around $300 when I go to the doc and get my meds refilled. Hubby is the same. Thank goodness my mother n law has insurance. I was born poor and will die poor. Can't take it with me anyway so I just need enough to get by anyway. And that we manage to do.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to swap my way into some SQ silkies. I've worked on making what I have a better quality it seems one chick at a time.

I need new blood in my flock and I like to either upgrade my roos or add better quality hens. Usually by swapping eggs. Soooooo.........after I finish filling the last 2 orders/swaps i'll have silkies and sizzles. Right now it's mostly my white silkies that are laying and only 2 of them. I get a partridge every now and again. My bbs have stopped for the time being. We all know how silkies are. My sizzles where laying like crazy till today but who knows what will happen tomorrow. I also have JB quail that are back to laying again also. I have some mixed oegb's that lay from time to time also. Nothing I can quarantee a certain amount of eggs from.

If anybody is interested in helping me out a little please PM me. Maybe I have something else your looking for or can find it.

I have plantar fasciitis and probably heel spurs as well. I don't know, can't afford to go to the doctor so no meds for me. I have shoe inserts that help some and just deal with the pain every day. I do know born poor and going to die poor but I am not going to die as poor as I was born anyway, lol.
I am working on rebuilding my flocks and getting some more breeds. Trying not to go crazy this time, lol.

Try wearing the crocs. I thought they would be very painful with the little nibbie things inside but they are actually comfortable. My feet are so sensative it's pitiful and crocs really help. When they start wearing thin in the sole I just get another pair but I usually keep 2 pair around. I've had insurance several times over the years and just lost it again back in May. Just before that I went to a pediatrist (foot doc) and had xrays and all that mess they put you through. He told me the only way it can be cured not after all these years is to cut the tendon. I've been warned about it several times from other docs i've seen that it will either make me pain free or in so much pain I won't be able to walk anymore. So I choose not to have it done. I walk all crooked now from the years of walking on the outside of the soles of my feet but i'm still walking.
