well it sounds like everyone is having an exciting start to the new week! Sorry to hear about your bum overnighter at Jersey though Shelly. Well, I havent gotten anything good today except a freebie glad odor blocker trash bag from hefty LMAO waiting on mytery eggs from Julys swap and my eggs from "the other shelly" lol. I broke the news of MORE EGGS to my grandpa last night.... he was NOT happy lol, I told him, Don't worry, I will sell all but one pair, and he was like.... yeah you said that about those big a** roosters running around in the yard you cant get rid of now! lol. He was talking about my buff orphingtons.... I do have A LOT of roosters....

Out of 12 I got 4 hens and I sold one.... on purpose.... didnt want to but it was the only way I could get rid of two roosters lol. I still have 4 roosters in the yard and 2 in the pen with the girls who just started laying a couple of days ago.

Anywho.... I owe some bamboo but other than that, I have been keeping my hands tied pretty good with the swap!

OH and to the person I got the horse from, I dont know if I even said I got it I was so distracted last week but I gave it to mom last night and she was madly in love at first sight! LOL. So we scored big on that one. Well, I am working today so I better get off BYC and pretend to do something more constructive! Later guys!

I got my eggs from Tay_boe today. She sent extra LF Salmon Fav (and I can't spell the rest).

I can't believe I only have one swap left for the week. There have been things I would like but I'm saving my last swap in case there is something I must have.

I need to PM those I owe Hostas to and warn them I may not be able to send them until next week. We are in the mid 90's here and there is no rain. The gardens are not happy and the stress of digging and dividing in these conditions would harm my plants and those I am sending out.

Just a warning, if I accept a swap, I may not be able to send a Hosta until next week. I hope everybody understands.

JUst a thought: I havent seen any in the swap but I would love to trade for quilt fabric remnants. I am wanting to start making some pot holders and need some fabric scraps. If anyone has any they would like to trade for anything I have put up PM me for a side trade. Otherwise it might be something to consider putting up in the swap.

Wow. NO posts today?? Where is everyone? I got my lilies mailed out. If you got the books from me, pm me your address. I'll go back and find the offer but it was a few pages ago. What is everyone up to? Still hot and dry today.

No plants from me til the ground softens up. I just got a huge plant swap today, that I was supposed to get over a month ago and I can't plant them! I've got over a dozen different kinds of irises and half a dozen different daylilies and I have to try and keep them alive til I can get them planted. I'm more than a little miffed about it.

now I've got to go out and buy pots and soil to keep them in!

Anyway, that's my vent for the day! The good news is, my broodies have accepted the eggs I got!

I guess I'm going to start going through my books I don't need, to see what there is for this swap! I'm also going to start looking through my tubs I have of collectibles and antiques to see if there's anything there.

C'mon people! Wake up!!

Well I got all my seeds sent to shellyga yesterday and the plants out today to reesepoultry and sonew123.
Got some realy great seeds today from my swap on a garden forum and a small bamboo as well.
Soon I will have even more seeds to trade as my blue tomatos and white tomatoes are comming in great,infact I have another kind of white tomato seeds on my list of trades on My Page.Seeds I got are bottle gourd,black diamond watermelon,Turks turban squash,Listada de Gandia eggplant,KBX tomato and Cuore di Bue tomato.
I also have seeds comming from our sister site TheEasyGarden.com seed train.But that train seams to have died wish more would join it.
Anyway hope everyone else is keeping cool and hydrated....

I have homemade soy candle melts/tarts that are very strong. Also handmade soy candles. Several scents, let me know what you like so I can suggest a scent. I would be willing to trade for Silkie or Sumatra eggs for hatching.

Its GW I have lurked on that site for years and years,and finally joined.Yes they are the wrinkly ones.I can pm you who I got them from on there and you can check her list see if you have what she wants.The blue tomatos I got came from james campbell from NY here is the link to when/what he sold https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=433724
Proubly better trading on GW in the winter and sping im sure,but hey I was finally given free rein to do what I want and no little kids keeping me to busy to do anything in the yard...
And my ghost peppers are growing great,can wait to make Molten Core sauce from those peppers...

Would love too but my quail arent old enough yet to lay & my Ameraucanas have all went broody. (I didnt think they were even supposed to be a broody type) I have 3 out of 4 hens that are broody right now and not a single egg that I want to incubate.

As soon as the quail are laying I would love to swap. I am looking for basically any quilt type fabric. Remnants or peices are good too. That is ridiculous for shipping!!! If there is anything else you're looking for let me know and I may have it. I also wouldnt be against paying either if it's a good price. Just PM me and let me know what ya got and what ya want.
