Here's a pic of my Iowa Blue I hatched from Mr. Heinz's Eggs. I am thinking a Pullet. Not a real big comb.

Great hatch rate. I am so glad.

I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind another rooster myself. The older ones I hatched were all pullets. I have some younger I'm not sure about.

Oh, he's pretty. Never heard of that breed, but I've just looked them up and I like them! I can't find anything about how well they do in the heat though, do you know?

I've been holding out for someone to supply me with WFBS to raise as a rare breed, but these are nice... hmm...

I have an Iowa Blue rooster too and I should get him some hens. He's a beauty from Sandhill Preservation. He just turned a year old. Very good to the hens and has never been aggressive. I heard the hens are kind of flighty though.

Very nice looking guy. My hens are a little flighty but my pullets are calmer. My roo is very good to his girls and I have never had a problem with him.

It's too late in the year for me to be incubating or I would be all over some Iowa Blue eggs. I have never had a better rooster. For anyone considering getting them, you won't regret it.
