Hi Kimisfishing! Go here - https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=529973&p=1 to read how the swap works, that is a link to the actual swap thread, we just chat here.

It a bit confusing at first, but then you get the hang of it and will be swapping away. The current offer is on the last page of the above thread. You can claim it if you want, but it is highly recommended you have pictures of what you want to swap before getting started. Many of us have 'swap pages' on our BYC page to make it easier.

Hope you join us.

It all depends on how skilled they are. I am not going to tell you how bad it was having the first two impacted teeth out, just take my advise, put ice on it as much as you can, and eat a liquid diet for a couple of days. I lost ten pounds that first time. The second time, I was put under and a dental surgeon did it rather than a dentist and it was much easier. I think at your age with a good pain tolerance level, you can probably go to the show. At my age, I would probably stay home . Good luck:) Deb

Well, if they are impacted and they need to chip them out, it kind of puts trauma on the tissues. It's not just yanking out teeth. Mine were growing sideways up against the other molars. More of a surgery that way.

I see Quail eggs up for swap a lot... I'm wondering what you do with quail? Can you eat them, what is the meat like, what are the eggs like, do they have personalities like chickens, etc... Not that I really need any more birds around my house, but...

Mine did the same... I was out for it because they had to break the bone. Only took 20 minutes or so. Of course I couldn't tell because I was out. No stitches for me, though. It was a pretty easy recovery.
