My daughter and her Showgirls were a hit at 4-H tonight. She did a presentation on the breed and let the kids (and parents) hold and pet the birds. No one there had ever heard of them and many didn't know the silkie breed. I didn't think we were ever going to get out of there, everyone had a bunch of questions and many are considering buying some from us next spring.

She gave a fabulous speech, I am one proud momma!

Public speaking was never something I could do.
