Thanks everyone I appreciate all the help and nice comments.

I have had IBS since A child and have learned not to eat the wonderful foods that upset it- corn, turkey, peppers, spicy foods, gassy foods, etc.

I have chronic lower back pain since I fell of a horse as a teen ager.

I'm going to up date my pages as soon as I have energy. my daughter has a wish list for christmas.

Yes, I keep giving up I love to eat, taking herbal remedies etc. Still miserable. Sounds like we are in the same boat. Hope you feel better.

Hey fellow hatch-a-holics.... If you haven't already come join in the 3rd Annual New Years Day Hatch. You can find the thread in the Incubating & Hatching section. Also this year, there will be a egg swap to go along with it. They are mostly "designer" eggs AKA mutts.
It is fun...with contest and fellowship.

And if you are like me.... I stay home on New Years, might as well have something exciting going on.

Me too. I might need to try and get some more Serama eggs out of you. My mother in law, who shows no excitement for the chickens except for the eggs (let me tell you, I haven't given her any eggs for the last 6 months because I've been hatching them and she doesn't like that but when I tell her what I have sold hatching eggs for, she quiets down about the price of eggs in the store.

The Seramas are in SLACK MODE.... I brought them out scrambled eggs this am, oatmeal muck yesterday. And gave them a drop of Nuti-drench this am.

I have a dusk to dawn light in the barn. I think I will put a separate light at their coop on a timer.

I started giving my chickens water soluble vitamins and minerals every other day. That has seemed to help mine start laying more and resume laying for those that were not laying.

As a side note, I added Feed Bags (All Nutrena: Horse, All Stock, Layer, Chick Starter, Meat Bird, and maybe even rabbit) and a bag of feathers to my swap page. I'd be interested in side swaps of Pure eggs if anybody is interested. Otherwise they are available if I accept a swap. I've been trying to limit myself to 1 swap a week unless there is something I can't live without.

I'll see about pictures of them soon.

I set my second batch of IBs from MrHeinz this am (with the possible NN mix too) I also put a barred rock & Appenzellar Spitzhauben mix egg in there 2 days ago and it's fertile this am! Here's my AS roo, Bowie, with is girlfriend, Elphaba, a cochin/silkie mutt.

I hope I get a crested cutie-pie!

Beth, I'll have to read the New Year's Day Hatch thing again, I didn't really understand it.
