You can see the lavender on the head & a stripe down the back.

Silkies...blue, black

1 has yellow fuzz on the head, tips of the wings & feet.

Hey Beth, I would say Reese is probably right as my main two males are a cuckoo and a lavender. by the spot on it's head as well is a cuckoo giveaway.

The other two are most likely lavender splits.

Our custodian at school gave me a coffee can full of Cortunex eggs. There were 47 total. 27 made it to the hatcher. Last night at 6 was 16 days. At 6:30 this morning the first one hatched. I now have 14 out. I was starting to doubt my hatching abilities. This just made my day. My parents are here visiting and brought part of my Christmas present, a trio of Show birds that are 8 months old. The lady wanted to surprise me and sent 3 4 month old cockerels and 2 4 month old pullets. I have eggs from the No Swap due today from Deb and BBS and White Ameraucanas from the Crazy Egg Chain.

Jim, You had better get busy on your quail pen! They grow so fast it is amazing! In six weeks you will be having all kinds of quail eggs. You might want to look at that pic i sent you of the quail duplex. Hatch on! Deb
