They are plastic devices shaped like eggs that you crack eggs into, then boil them for boiled eggs. No shelling required afterwards makes them awesome. Downside: $10 for only 6 of them at Wal-Mart. The eggs also do not come out eggzactly egg-shaped, but look like half an egg if you use just one egg. I haven't tried them with two eggs.

Oh, interesting.. Thanks for the explanation, they sound like a useful item. Might have to look into that.

Our local news had them on a test,they said they leaked egg into the water,said the cleaning of parts were a pain.I was bummed out after that,but now after hearing this i might buy!

PO hands a ton of packages over to FedEx as a "middleman" shipper. Not sure if it's overnights or cross countries or what but a bunch of them so part of the problem could be them as well.
