That is what I have been basing my swap on. No matter, If I see something I like, I claim it. I always consider in the price or value of the item...plus what it cost to ship. I know I pay anywhere between $6-15 for shipping, plus the item.

I look at what other people offer and I try to offer things that people will enjoy as much as the item I chose. I also look at what people spend to ship eggs. People offering eggs spend money on packaging and more on shipping, I for one am thankful or else I'd be scraping eggs on craigslist from who knows where. This is a great thread and I like to think that i've given as good as i've gotten. Either way people will choose to grab an offer or not and I just make sure that when I offer something it'll be something that I would love to have myself. As for paypal...well, I never liked the idea of trading money, i know its weird but thats just me, a GFM is one thing, but paypal...I know i've spent more than 10 dollars on just shipping for most of my swaps and I will gladly keep doing it.

I agree...I saw value=15$ in the beginning-not including shipping. I have always offered up that value amount except paypal or GFM's....BUt I have seen a few items worth less that I had to have and I was pleased...4$ total... I would have been dissappointed to...

all around! My friends know that they only get hugs on holidays or special occasions. Since i'm mexican, we all get together tonight, and when my siblings were younger Christmas Day was for nursing hangover, now I think they all just check their blood sugars from the cookies.

I need to get pics of everyone's chicks, they're all so big, maybe i'll go over to my sisters tomorrow and do that!

BHep, I agree with your statement. If you see something you like, claim it. That's what it's all about. Just think we should kick it up a notch to get back to the original intended value. Paypal amounts under $10 isn't a fair offering to the next person when the item claimed was eggs.

It was super fun to get goodies in the mail!

I will definitely jump back in on the thread and participate again. Just had lost interest for a while.

everytime I see your eggs I cry a little, I need it to warm up so they can go outside to their brooder. just a couple of months...

I havent been offering eggs because of the cold BUT....It is Christmas and I wanted to do something special for my swap buddies so I am waiting patiently for something that really catches my eye and Im putting up a mixed bag of pures for it:) BLRW's, lav or split lav AMeraucanas, and split lav silkie eggs A one time big swap:)
