They dont' freeze in the planes enroute?? I was wondering how this worked in winter. Our pipes were frozen this morning. I need to get out there and check on my peeps, laugh if you will, but I don't wanna go out in the cold!

Thanks Deb! I sure will! I think she is looking for LFs. I'll have to double check with her. She was nice enough to loan me her good bator for a bit, so I'd like to repay her with some chicks..

Barb, I've got two black silkies, one with some yellow feathering on his toes, and a chipmunk with feathered legs! So stinking cute! Two eggs under her, one mine, I'm not getting any sounds from. I'll take 'em out and candle tomorrow and see what's goin' on.

Not that I know of

I typically dont send eggs when its -20 out but I've never in 5 years had a complaint about frozen eggs

Cool! So the chipmunk must be from two white parents since white can hide other colors.

I know I owe something or things and I'm very sorry. Life keeps happening and I'm falling apart a bit at the seams. Please let me know what I owe. I would try to look back and decipher it but with the migraine for the past forever I keep making mistakes. From now on I'm going to try keeping track on my swaps page like some have begun doing. I will include a patience bonus as I usually do when I am slow.

Just a note I got 18 RIR from HOT2POT, 10 Barred rock from KYtinpusher and 17 BLRW from Cowgirl75446 today and all came in PERFECT condition. I am just super tickled. Running out to buy another bator. BRB to do some good ole swapping.....

Did I ever tell you that I love chocolate!!

I have choc bantam orps and choc bantam cochins hatching today!

So far looks like a choc of each and a couple of splits. All eggs appear to have pips and some zips.

Oh and I lav bantam orp trying to work it's way out too.

As these come out later this evening another batch going in LD and will set another tray in the bator.

Oh, ps - these are not from any imported cross, I have been working on these for two years now, All are homegrown.
