Grrrrrrrrrrrr just checking my mail ,strange things that were deleted on old system ,showed back up,i should say old deleted mail i was wondering if anyone else has this problem.I have been deleting ,wow some old stuff!

This is me with the new system.



I guess I should have taken the opportunity to play with the new system, now I have to learn it and keep up with my threads. (after I finally found the SUBSCRIPTIONS button.....)

I feel unconnected, and a bit crazy.

Jim Heinz-- good news on the GLCs. At least 1 of 3 hens is laying an egg every day. Now, if I could just get her to lay it in a box, any box, other than the dirt in a random location.

Cochin owners- Okay, I guess these birds don't move very quickly, fly, or roost?? Or maybe it's just these?

michelle reese-- I have 8 new quail chicks from the eggs you sent! 3 blondes and 5 brunettes. 3 of your chicken eggs set to hatch on Saturday, too.

I hope everyone got what they were expecting from me. I have emvrickyey's to mail. Just mailed 202roosterlane's egg cartons, and that's it.

My Cochin rarely roost. Mine laid eggs on the ground until I put a nest box on the ground for them (Its actually a rabbit nest box for when I had a Flemish Giant) They lay in there now. How are the eggs doing from me?

I am NOT happy at all with the BSA format now. I may be moving on. I don't know. We'll see how it ends up in a couple weeks.

I haven't yet figured out how to make finding swap pages easier, but I did find something worthwhile. On your profile page, click on Edit Account Details. All the way at the bottom of the Account Detail box is a box to check to turn off advertising! I'm not sure if this applies to everyone, or just GFM and above. It will make pages load faster for those that don't have the luxury of fast internet.

Open up your swap page and copy the url from your internet browser's address bar. It should look something like this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/kytinpushers-swap-page
Go to your "My Profile" page and click on "Edit Account Details". Scroll down to "Your Forum Signature" and click on "Edit Signature Text". At this point you can either just paste in the url you copied, or add some text (like "What Ya Got Swap page") and link to it by clicking on the link icon (globe with chain) in the edit menu (about in the middle of the menu) and in the window that pops up, paste the url you copied.

I just clicked your swap page and got a system error message.. I suspect there are still some bugs being worked out. It will all come together, we will all figure it out and all will be good.
