Ugh this is confusing. It appears the old links in our signatures to swap pages work still.

To get to your pages, go to profile and scroll down there is an area titles "Your Recent Activity" if you deselect everything but 'articles' you member pages are displayed....there must be an easier way to do it but that is all I can figure out right now.

going to test a new link to my swap page and see if it works My Swap Page. The page address for our member page looks generic, I'm unsure it will know exactly what page to display..

I can't seem to find them, the only reason my comes up is because it's in my "signature" section, otherwise I would not be able to find it. The "my page" section is gone???

Click on a member's name, then a box will pop up. select Profile. At their profile you scroll down and you can fine things marked with a puzzle or block like icon, those are "articles" and are BYC pages.

How do u post a link to your swap page,i am clueless

First you have to find your page

then copy the url (the long address that starts www.backyardchickens.... on your browser), go to your profile and edit signature. You can type something like View My Swap Page, then select that text, click the earth with a chain link above. Paste the url for your page. That makes the text "View My Swap Page" a link to your page....are you confused yet?

I am sure my explanation isn't too great.

Ggrrr this new forum will not allow my excellent firefox spell check to work, you have to use the built in one. Not liking that.

Shelly - don't think I ever updated on my hatch of Marans. 2 hatched a day early (Sat., Dec 31st) and then a couple pips that never zipped On Tuesday I was going to throw out the eggs and one of them started peeping at me! I helped the stuck Goober out and he/she is alive a week later! That chick is only 3 days younger than the others but only half the size. Goober is a tiny little fighter and has become my special little darling. Goober and one of the others are black with feathered shanks, the 3rd appears to be blue! I don't think I've seen pics of your stock so was surprised by the blue. It is gorgeous.

I guess I should have taken the opportunity to play with the new system, now I have to learn it and keep up with my threads. (after I finally found the SUBSCRIPTIONS button.....)

I feel unconnected, and a bit crazy.

Jim Heinz-- good news on the GLCs. At least 1 of 3 hens is laying an egg every day. Now, if I could just get her to lay it in a box, any box, other than the dirt in a random location.

Cochin owners- Okay, I guess these birds don't move very quickly, fly, or roost?? Or maybe it's just these?

michelle reese-- I have 8 new quail chicks from the eggs you sent! 3 blondes and 5 brunettes. 3 of your chicken eggs set to hatch on Saturday, too.

I hope everyone got what they were expecting from me. I have emvrickyey's to mail. Just mailed 202roosterlane's egg cartons, and that's it.
