I'm exhausted just imagining taking care of those sweet baby goats on top of everyday life.

I'm not partial to naked necks that aren't showgirls but those chicks are really cute. That black one in particular!

I still owe HOT2POT and JohnFarmer some eggs John yours should go out tomorrow providing they lay 2 more eggs todays. Hot2pot broke two when I taped the lid down. Which amazes me considering I bubble wrapped them. Ugh. Okay I need one more day for 2 eggs. Maybe I will get extras for you.

Well it's a ugly rainy day here too. So I left the tarps up on the sides. I like to think it helps prevent the wind and rain from going in sideway into the coops. Give the chickens a break from the cold wind. They don't like the tarps but they don't like the bone chilling wind. What's a chicken momma to do? I do have a piece of tin that runs across the top of the runs but it only covers the food. So they have fresh air coming in.

I know whatcha mean about being wore out. Volunteered at the school yesterday with 1st graders. And I am bet today. I don't know how teachers do it 5 days a week! Week after week after week. Teachers are a blessing and I pray for the them. My granddaughter is home today with a cold she has not been able to shake for a week. So today I am going to do meds, warm bath, vics vapor rub, vitamin, orange juice, good breaskfast. Anything I can think of to help her knock it out. But I told her no jumping and playing, bed rest. Staying home from school did not sound so fun then. But she had a 101.2 fever this morning. Hope you guys have a great chicken day today.

I am going to go around the house and get pics of some more swap goodies and maybe start sewing again. Will be this afternoon before I get them on there unless she takes a nap.

Who did you get them from? I would love to see pics! Did you get your second set of eggs? I am still waiting on the eggs-I have not gotten any eggs since I listed that I was taking orders!
