I finally got some good pictures of my chicks! HenThymes, can you give me an idea what colors they will be?

I NEED to post new pics of the EEs I hatched from HT. # 2&3 the buff colored ones will probably look like mine, buff & lav. #1 the chipmonk ish will probably be silverish. Let me get some pics after dinner.

I finally got some good pictures of my chicks! HenThymes, can you give me an idea what colors they will be?

AS for color #1&5 will be silver tones probably with blue, 2&3 bhep can show you what they will look like, #4 ?? but I really like it's coloring! On the OE your guess is as good as mine, moms were solid black and dad is below. I can't wait to see them grow!!

Actually, they didn't eat near as much as I thought they might! It was so funny, though-the family that bought them came to get them. I asked if they had a cage or crate to take them home in and they said yes. We went out to the chicken house and I opened the door. When they saw the Emu chicks ( 2 1/2 months old) their eyes got really big, and the man said, "they aren't going to fit in our crate." We caught them and I loaned them a large dog crate that we had. When we carried them to the back of their SUV and I saw the crate they brought, I just started to laugh! It was big enough for one cat! They had no idea how fast Emus grow! They were a foot tall when they hatched, and when we sold them they were already up to my waist (I am 5'6" tall).

Beth: I have sad news, Minnie didn't make it. She wasn't thriving. I tried to feed her and water her but she still passed.

Glad they made it there safetly! I loved stumping my kids with the questions and they loved doing the same back to me
