I've noticed it slowed way down since the conversion. Many used their cell phones for BYC and the new platform does not agree with cell phones. I down loaded Opera Mini but still have problems. Also, I am not getting updates via e-mail so I have no idea when somebody claims a swap.

We have gone through times of being slow. You should have seen us this last summer. We would fly through swaps left and right. Then, the cost of shipping got some and the economy got others.

Hi everyone! Wanted to say I got Dmccann package back in the mail today. The sent it to Florida and back to me......Long story....But on a postive note, I got eggs in from BHEP (thank you sweetie!) and James Meeks. He is skylinepoultry and he sent me the Euskal Oiloa chicken eggs.my barred, multi colored cuties originally from northern Spain...Am I crazy or what? Thankfully I think most of my eggs have come in and today happens to be (or should be) a very large hatch day at the Schmitt house. Slow morning though. HOT2POT 3 Buff Orps have hatched!!!!!! Soooooo blonde and rowdy! One before Gwendolyn (DGD) went to school. My husband said, Happy birthday to the chick. He says this to all of them. LOL and Gwendolyn said, Hey chicky, Happy Birthday! Do you know who the President is? Then in her chicken voice she says....... Bra Bra BrAWK Obama. She totally cracked her self up. She loves that joke. Oops, DH said a one of our polish eggs are hatching......It's gonna be hatching like popcorn today, I pray! Have an awesome BYC day peeps.

Thats exactly what its about...for me..way to difficult to quickly move about...has slowed me down to a dead crawl....last Summer was great!

Now on top of my chicken raising and incubating addictions I can add swapping.

I'm not getting any notifications. I was, but they stopped. It's still a slow website too even though I switched to Chrome at home and if I'm at work, forget it.

I have such a hard time getting stuff to load on the new system that I really have not been spending much time on BYC. I have tried all the things to make things faster but it still creeps along. I can only dream of getting anything to load fast enough to snag a really great swap item. I really don't like the new BYC. I would take the old one back in a heart beat. I understand the whole ready to crash and needing to upgrade but I don't see all the great improvements.
